UX/UI Designer
About the Role
We're looking for a UX/UI Designer to shape how internal organizational systems will look and feel in the next decade. You'll create "no-fear" system-building experiences that make complexity feel simple, enabling users to rapidly build automations, dashboards, forms, and workflows without technical expertise. This isn't about designing pretty screens - it's about reimagining how people interact with enterprise software in the age of AI.
Key Responsibilities
- System Building Experience: Design intuitive interfaces that allow non-technical users to build complex systems confidently, without fear of breaking things
- Rapid Creation Flows: Create streamlined workflows for quickly building dashboards, forms, automations, and business processes
- AI-Powered Interfaces: Design conversational and visual interfaces that leverage AI to assist, guide, and accelerate user tasks
- Workflow Design: Craft experiences for multi-step processes that feel logical, transparent, and easy to understand at every stage
- Component Systems: Build and maintain a comprehensive design system that scales across diverse use cases while maintaining consistency
- Data Visualization: Design dashboards and reporting interfaces that make complex data immediately understandable and actionable
- User Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and validate solutions
- Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes in Figma to test concepts and communicate design vision to stakeholders
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and customers to ensure designs are both desirable and technically feasible
- B2B Design Thinking: Apply deep understanding of enterprise user needs, organizational workflows, and business contexts to design decisions
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- 4+ years of UX/UI design experience, with at least 2 years designing B2B or enterprise products
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, and design systems
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex workflow design, data-heavy interfaces, or system-building tools
- Experience designing for technical or power users who need depth and flexibility
- Understanding of information architecture and how to organize complex functionality
- Ability to balance simplicity with power - making advanced capabilities accessible without dumbing them down
- Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, spacing, color, and hierarchy
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into design improvements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design rationale
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing AI-powered products, conversational interfaces, or assistive features
- Background in designing workflow automation tools, no-code platforms, or form builders
- Familiarity with developer tools, APIs, or technical product design
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
- Experience with design systems at scale
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) to understand implementation constraints
- Previous startup experience, especially in fast-paced growth environments
What We're Looking For
- Forward-Thinking: You're excited about how AI will transform software interfaces and eager to pioneer new interaction patterns
- Empathy for Complexity: You understand that enterprise users deal with messy, complex workflows — and you design to simplify, not oversimplify
- Systematic Thinker: You see patterns across use cases and can design flexible systems rather than one-off solutions
- Detail-Obsessed: You sweat every pixel, every transition, every loading state, and every error message
- User Advocate: You champion user needs throughout the product development process and push back when necessary
- Iterative Designer: You embrace feedback, test assumptions, and continuously refine based on real usage
- Collaborative Spirit: You work effectively with cross-functional teams and know when to lead vs. when to listen
- Design Rationale: You make thoughtful decisions and can clearly explain the "why" behind your choices
Design Challenges You'll Tackle
- How do we make building a complex workflow feel as easy as having a conversation?
- What does a "no-fear" interface look like when users are creating mission-critical business systems?
- How do we provide AI assistance without making users feel like they've lost control?
- How do we design for both novice users and power users in the same interface?
- How do we visualize complex data flows and automation logic in an intuitive way?
- What interaction patterns make error recovery feel safe and straightforward?
Your Impact
