Data Analyst & Business Development

Role Overview

We're seeking a Data Analyst & Business Development professional who will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities, measuring impact, and driving growth. This is a unique hybrid position that combines analytical rigor with strategic business development thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyze complex datasets to identify growth opportunities and actionable insights
• Build and maintain business models to forecast revenue, market potential, and ROI
• Conduct user behavior analysis and product analytics to optimize performance
• Create dashboards and reports to track key business metrics and KPIs
• Translate data findings into clear recommendations for leadership and stakeholders

Business Development & Strategy

• Support partnership development initiatives and identify potential strategic partners
• Conduct competitive research and market analysis to inform business strategy
• Analyze target markets and develop market entry strategies
• Support go-to-market (GTM) activities with early customers
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to refine value propositions

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to drive data-informed decisions
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Support strategic planning processes with quantitative analysis

Requirements

Must Have

• 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar)
• Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling and analysis
• Proven ability to transform raw data into actionable business insights
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
• Background in business development or strategy consulting
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis
• Experience with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
• Understanding of B2B SaaS business models
• MBA or relevant advanced degree
